It is at the discretion of the society to decide whether it can accept a particular dog. Due to the shelter does not confine dogs in cages, it has to ensure that only dogs that are vaccinated are accepted into the shelter. This is to prevent stray dogs that carried diseases such as distemper to infect the other happy and healthy dogs at 4PAWS. The society requires all pet owners and dog rescuers who want to leave the dogs at 4PAWS as the last resort, to vaccinate the dogs and also to pay for the neutering. 4PAWS can provide care and rehabilitation for the dogs until they find permanent homes. For those dogs that cannot find their forever home, 4PAWS will provide continue care. As such, 4PAWS burden is very high. 4PAWS seeks the kind understanding of pet owners and animal rescuers to at least help 4PAWS to cover the initial cost of getting the animals ready for shelter life by paying for the vaccination and neutering cost. Procedures:

  1. Dogs send to clinic after consulting with Barbara
  2. Vet carries out medical check and vaccinates
  3. Rescuer or owner pays for the vaccination cost
  4. If the dogs cannot be neutered yet, 4PAWS will take in and neuter them when times come. Rescuers/pet owners pay directly to the vet in advance or to 4PAWS account (Maybank 507143333153) for the dogs neutering cost and email 4PAWS at This email address is being protected from spambots. 5. 4PAWS accepts the dogs.
  6. Adoption of dogs

We currently have over 620 dogs at our shelter waiting for their forever homes.

All of our dogs have been vaccinated and wormed. The adult female dogs are all spayed.

We don’t charge an adoption fee for our dogs, only ask that you make a donation of an amount at your discretion. This helps cover some of the costs of getting them ready for adoption including worming, vaccinations and vet fees.

We welcome you to visit our shelter to meet the beautiful dogs all waiting for permanent homes. Every time a dog finds their forever home we’re able to make room to rescue more dogs.
